Established by Richard Beetz sen. in 1926 in Berlin, the law firm Beetz & Partner followed the German Patent Office from Berlin to Munich in 1949. In 1999 our Paris office was opened.

Since the establishment of our firm in 1926, we have successfully advised and represented our clients in more than 85 000 cases in all fields of intellectual property protection.

Over the last few decades we have thus grown into a trusted legal adviser and representative to global players as well as large and medium-sized businesses from all over the world.

Additionally, we have gained more and more “young” clients from the high-tech industry, particularly data processing and biotechnology companies.

Beetz & Partner today employs a team of more than 75 employees with approximately 20 patent attorneys and attorneys at law.
